About the Project
Waco, Texas
In pursuit of leading innovation and sustainability in consumer packaging, a national provider of recycled paperboard is developing a state-of-the-art facility in Waco, Texas.
The project needed to be constructed as quickly as possible to get into production of it’s highly demanded product. Part of the strategy to accelerate the construction process was to utilize prefab modular construction for their facility security, SafeSpace was able to design and deliver high security prefab modular guard houses to control visitor access around the plant. The timeframe from concept to delivery was only about 5 months, significantly faster than traditional construction methods. Aesthetics and functionality were also a primary consideration. The prefab guard booths contained bathrooms, computer and monitor stations, and complete HVAC
systems, suited to the Waco climate. The exterior was a factory installed brick finish and painted steel to match their main building. The results are fully functional and aesthetically pleasing modular guard booths which protect and secure this important manufacturing plant.
