Train stations, airports, and ports are strengthening security measures to better protect the public from potential threats. Boston recently upgraded security at its South Station facility to reduce public risk.

Part of this enhanced security is the installation of guard station to monitor the entrance to the train platform. This prefab guard booth has extra-large windows to maximize visibility of the area.  It is also equipped with state-of-the-art electronic surveillance equipment to detect possible threats.

This modular guard house was delivered and set in one day which avoided any disruption from construction in this highly traveled area.  The custom color of the rail line was applied to make it blend in with the color scheme of this newly renovated Station.
