About the Project
West Virginia
Proctor and Gamble needed a new operations center to oversee deliveries and logistics around their brand name Beauty Products division. They required a centrally located office with maximum visibility of the surrounding area of tank truck bulk deliveries. The site is a harsh environment with exposure to chemicals and heavy traffic, so the building needed to be low maintenance and extremely durable.
SafeSpace worked with the Proctor and Gamble Team to design a building with large windows, open floor plan, ample restrooms, with interior and exterior finishes that could withstand the challenges of the harsh conditions.
The site is also in a heavily used area, so construction and installation needed to be done quickly to avoid any disruption of their operations. Modular construction of the building and use of prefab access stairs and ramp allowed for accelerated construction which was complete in less than 7 days.
The end result is a robust and fully functional modular office building that will provide many years of use for this vital function. The high quality of the prefab modular building along with it’s rapid construction met the unique requirements of this important customer.
