About the Project

Massachusetts

Bristol Meyers Squibb (BMS) needed to enlarge a 10-year-old security building, adding a bathroom and additional office space. This challenge was easily accomplished because modular construction allows for expansion of buildings by adding additional modules. The new module was constructed to the exact specifications as the existing one, including an exact paint match. The bathroom was completed in the factory including all fixtures, and plumbing, making the installation very quick.

Speed of construction was essential because this entrance to the BMS campus is very busy, and they couldn’t afford the usual disruption of a site-built construction project.

The end result is a durable, aesthetically pleasing structure, completed on an accelerated schedule that could only be possible using prefab modular construction for this security building.
